Partnering with refilters Pendennis in Falmouth on this 69m luxury expedition yacht in 2023, originally having been built in 1972, her new owners and their team were keen to significantly upgrade her systems. The galley was a full SOLAS stainless steel refit from bulkhead to bulkhead capable of feeding 5 crew and 8 guests for up to 50 days (15,000 nautical miles) which consited of a large central cooking island with 6-zone commercial induction hob, griddle, salamander and heated plating area. A custom-made cooker hood above to adequately deal with the galley extraction. Two stacked steam combi ovens. A large food prepping area with two large sinks, a dedicated pastry area, as well as a separate returns area with pot sinks and high-capacity dishwashers. Ample undercounter refrigeration, ambient storage capacity, as well as over 14 metre length of clear worktop space for the galley team to utilise. What we provided on this project…
